The Yokohama Research Institute for Disability, Education and Industry (YRIDEI) was established as a research institute attached to the social-welfare corporation Le Pli. Its work extends beyond medical, educational and industrial research on disability into the humanities, the social sciences and philosophy, seeking to contribute to human welfare while asking what existence and happiness are.
