研究関心 Research Interests
精神医学史、とりわけ十九世紀から二十世紀にかけてのドイツ・フランスの精神医学伝統——グリージンガー、クレペリン、ブロイラー、シュナイダー、ジャスパース、アンリ・エイ——の概念史的研究を中心に、精神病理学、特殊教育、発達障害および知的発達症の臨床と支援、そして精神医学と哲学・文学・神学の接点にまたがる広範なテーマに関心を持つ。ドイツ語・フランス語の一次資料を用いた翻訳研究も継続的におこなっている。
Professor Matsuishi's research centers on the conceptual history of nineteenth- and twentieth-century German and French psychiatric traditions — from Griesinger and Kraepelin through Bleuler, Schneider, Jaspers and Henri Ey — extending into psychopathology, special education, the clinical care of persons with intellectual developmental disorders, and the intersections of psychiatry with philosophy, literature and theology. He maintains ongoing translation work with primary sources in German and French.
